Τhe Project
The project “Extension of the integrated managing applications service of the Housing Allowance for University Students” concerns the enhancement and further development of the Housing Allowance electronic service.
The project’s primary objectives to be achieved are: the upgrade of the operation of the electronic service for the management of the Housing Allowance; and the simplification and improvement of the process of application and granting of the Housing Allowance by the beneficiary students.
The aim is to provide better service to students of Higher Education Institutions and of the Higher Ecclesiastical Academies in the country.
More specifically, the project includes:
- optimization of application submission and evaluation procedures,
- automatic retrieval of certificates where required,
- support for both beneficiaries and institutions through a dedicated Helpdesk,
- confirmation and safeguarding of the system’s proper operation,
- full compliance with the GDPR framework,
- generation of executive reports and statistical data.
As a result, the application, evaluation, and granting process of the Housing Allowance will become more efficient, reduce bureaucracy, enhance transparency, and relieve all stakeholders from unnecessary administrative burden.
The project is implemented within the framework of the Operational Program “Public Sector Reform” and is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national resources.
